Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 “Robert Harvey COD” | Written by Alexei Lozada (JAS)

Tuesday, August 8th—The boys of Pasquaney awoke on their hillside to a warm 57 degrees. All seniors were scheduled for the Four-Man Canoe Race, 100 Yard Swim, and the Canoe Tilt Finals. Spencer Campbell and Jack Riggs won the tilting championship for the second year in a  row! On the tennis courts, there was another finals match: the Junior Doubles Championship. Simon Brown and James Scullin won the finals in a tough three-set match. During afternoon activities, the continuation of the Sub-junior Baseball Finals took place, with Hunter Harris’s team taking the win. Other finals included the Subby Tennis Doubles, of which Henry Brown and Bo Turnage emerged as winners. There was also a canoeing specie to Bristol Gorge as well as scheduled half-mile swims. After dinner, there were play rehearsals and Varied Option, while 16-year-olds worked in the kitchen on the 16-year-old breakfast. It was a solid, busy day.
