Visiting

There's nothing quite like a return to the Pasquaney hillside. 

Whether you're stopping by for a meal, a walk up and down the hillside during activities, or you wish to stay for the night, we're always glad to see you, we love welcoming alumni back to Camp during the summer. Because summer is our busiest season, and because our first responsibility is to the campers currently in our care, we ask that all alumni help us preserve the unique spirit, traditions, and sense of community that make Pasquaney so special.

Planning Your Visit

Please let us know in advance if you're planning to visit. Knowing who is on camp property helps us ensure a smooth experience for everyone. If you would like to stay in the Alumni House, please contact Assistant Director Rich DeSalvo at rdesalvo@pasquaney.org to reserve a bunk before making travel plans. While we will do our best to accommodate requests, space is limited throughout the summer.

During Your Visit

We hope you'll jump into camp life while you're here. Alumni are welcome to:

  • Join us for meals.
  • Watch competitions and performances.
  • Participate in many camp activities when appropriate and approved by counsellors.
  • Reconnect with the Pasquaney community and enjoy being back at camp.

Please remember that our daily schedule revolves around our campers, and counsellors will need to prioritize their camp responsibilities.

Visiting Expectations

To help keep camp running smoothly and safely, we ask alumni to observe a few simple guidelines:

  • Please check in with the C.O.D. or a member of the leadership team at the Office when you arrive.
  • Alumni under 18 years old should remain in Upper Camp after Campfire and should not visit the waterfront at night.
  • Please follow all waterfront safety rules (posted at the Bulkeley Bathhouse).
  • You may swim to Perch Rock but not the Diving Raft.
  • Centennial is the Pasquaney Council's workspace and is reserved for current counsellors and staff.
  • Please help us maintain a respectful environment for campers by following camp routines and council directions.

Cell Phone Use

Alumni are welcome to have phones and to keep their phones with them throughout the day. We trust you understand that part of the experience for our campers is to go technology-free and to have a seven-week digital detox from smartphones, the internet, and social media. When you are in public spaces in sight of campers, please be discreet about your cell phone use and do not provide any access to the campers.

Alumni House

If you're staying in the Alumni House, thank you for helping keep it comfortable for everyone.

  • Join the rest of camp by getting up before the end of breakfast at the latest (1.5 hours after Reivelle).
  • We are not able to provide bedding, including pillows, so please plan to bring your own sleeping bag and something to comfortably support your head while sleeping, such as a pillow or a folded fleece.
  • Keep your bunk neat throughout the day. 
  • If you are under 18, we ask for you to turn in at Taps. If you are over 18, please keep noise to a minimum when coming and going later in the evening. 
  • We'd be happy to lend you a camp uniform during your stay so you can fit right in.

Exploring Beyond Camp

Many alumni enjoy hiking or exploring the surrounding area while visiting. Please understand that these outings are your responsibility. While we're always happy to help if we're able, camp staff cannot be relied upon for transportation, trip support, or emergency assistance should something happen while you're away from camp. Our staff's attention must remain focused on the campers and programs in session.

Camp Pasquaney is located at 19 Pasquaney Lane, Hebron, NH 03241 in central New Hampshire on the northeastern edge of Newfound Lake, midway between the towns of Bristol and Plymouth on Route 3A. Drivers should take Interstate 93 to Exit 23, travel west on Route 104 to Bristol, then travel north on Route 3A for seven miles.

Travel

The Manchester NH Airport (MHT) is about one hour and ten minutes south of Pasquaney and is serviced by most major airlines. The Boston Airport, Logan (BOS), is about two hours south. We offer airport pick ups for campers at the start of the season and drop offs at the end.

There are hourly buses between Logan, Boston South Station (rail), and Concord, NH (50 mins. south). There are two buses a day between Logan, Boston South Station, and Plymouth, NH (20 mins. from camp). There is no public transportation between MHT, Concord, and Plymouth.
