Friday, July 15th Today, we woke up to a 70-degree morning, our hottest of the season. We had a special guest, Dick Beyer, in the morning Nature activity. He had come to partake in bird watching. The afternoon activity period had a wide variety of new activities. There were Junior obstacle races, Senior tennis matches, and the first Sub-Junior baseball game of the season. Roan Hopkins’s team defeated Simon Brown’s team in a thrilling 4-3 game. There was also a nature specie to Kirk’s house to pick blueberries. Paul Davies gave a thoughtful tree talk about real friends and how to always be your best self.  For Campfire, we had our penultimate club skit rehearsals. All in all, today was a great day.
