The highlight of yesterday was the expedition exposition. During the exposition, we learned how to start a stove, how to set up tents properly and how to practice leave-no-trace principles when engaging with the wilderness. Jules Finney showed us how to attach the fuel to the stove and what kind of flames to look for when cooking. He also showed us how to clean the stove. Jack Denious gave us excellent instructions on how to pack our expedition backpacks effectively to help with weight distribution. After learning how to set up our tents and a meal in Mem Hall, we ended the day with dorm skit rehearsals, working hard to perfect them.
