We woke to a loud bugle on a chilly 69ºF morning. There were prayers and mines quickly before morning inspection. Then, at breakfast, Mr. Michael announced that Peter Davies was elected COI and Doctor Weinsier made an announcement that there was smoke drifting into camp from the wildfires in Canada and that we should limit any strenuous activities for the day. After duties, we had a hazy activity period and then morning soak. After Soak, we got our individual photos taken for the White Pine facebook and then had lunch. We had afternoon activities, which were more or less the normal ones, but without half mile swims and with no running loops allowed. After dinner we had Varied-Option Campfire. Some of the options included basketball, lacrosse, and latin poetry. We concluded the day with Taps and went to bed.
