Opening day at Camp Pasquaney began with a lot of new faces. After playing the name game in Baird Hall, all of camp headed to flagpole rock for our official opening ceremony. Ryan Carlson, the youngest camper, raised the flag and the cannon boomed marking the start of the 125th season. Bumpson then spoke about his experience at camp. Boys then headed down to the waterfront for the first swim of the season, where an ice-cold Newfound Lake awaited. Our first official meal in Mem Hall consisted of mac and cheese and nutritious brussels sprouts. After such a busy day, Mr. Vinnie read “Oli’s First Touchdown” for campfire, sending camp off to a restful sleep.
