On Sunday morning we woke up to a bright 68 degrees and the normal Sunday routine of duties, tub, and inspection. Since it was visiting weekend, a lot of guests were at the Chapel. Mr. Vinnie talked about friendship and how a faithful friend is the medicine of life. He also talked about how people with trustworthy friends live longer because a good friend doubles joys and cuts sorrows in half. Once we left Chapel, many campers left with their parents to go out for lunch. The boys who remained at camp had a delicious turkey carved by the counsellors and yummy moon rocks for dessert. After lunch we had an extended rest to help us digest such a large meal. Everyone rejoined on Dana Porch for camper meeting, and we wrapped up our day with a cookout, singing, and circles.
