At breakfast, we had chapel practice and sang Hymns 363 and 563 as well as “How Can I Keep from Singing.” Later, at chapel, Mr. Michael gave a sermon on honesty and truth. After that, we had pork and applesauce for lunch with blueberry pie for dessert. Then, a long rest followed by camper and council meetings, the latter of which went very long. After the meetings, there was a very rainy free time followed by a cookout at Memorial Hall because of further rain. Then, the counselors started the bonfire for expedition stories at Baird Hall. All groups performed, with most doing songs, but a couple doing skits. Pemi and Norcross had particularly popular performances. The day ended under a cloudy sky.
