Friday, August 11th—In the morning, we had ‘last cuts’ for 16-year-olds on Hobbs Field. We also had a very fast Pasquaney Mile competition at canoeing with Brewer Stone and Porter Barnes winning with a time of 11 minutes. We also had Water Sports Weekend practice. Then, at the end of the morning, we had our last morning Soak of the year. Almost every single boy and counsellor went in, and we sang the Camp Song. After Soak, we had time to get a head start on packing. Then, after a tasty lunch and a nice rest, we had our last activity period of the whole year! For the last activity period there was the Pasquaney triathlon, won by Sam Randall and Carlos Davis. Sam Randall also swam his half-mile in 11 minutes flat, which is the fastest time this year and places Same as the 5th fastest camper in Pasquaney history. In the afternoon, Rich DeSalvo gave a tree talk about living a life “without” and taking camp home with you. Then, after a delicious Pizza Friday, we had the annual Sigma Alpha Awards ceremony.
