The signature event of the morning was the tennis Senior doubles final match, which was won by James Scullin and Simon Brown. The morning’s wind made it great for sailing, preparing us for the afternoon’s regatta. Despite the waves, in canoeing, there was a specie to Mr. Vinnie’s Rock. On the raft, Jack Anderson closed the DOW and prepared boys for the upcoming diving competition through helping them to complete the three required dives: the tuck, pike, and back dive. In the afternoon, there was the Junior doubles final with Costa Somers and me vs. Henry Brown and Kiyan Afkhami. Costa and I were victorious in what was an extremely well-played match. The major event of the afternoon was the sailing regatta, in which Courtland Doyle won every heat. The shop was also very busy since it was one of the last activity periods to work on Pasquaney Chests. For campfire, we had singing and circles. During this time, one of the camp dogs, Fenwick, received a much needed haircut. All and all it was a great day.
