We woke up to a mountainous 64º F morning. The skies were clear, and we were ready for our first Hikes Day of the summer. First and Second Walks enjoyed a brisk hike through the Cardigan and Firescrew mountains, while the boys in the Third Walk trucked up Tecumseh. Fourth walk summited Osceola and Fifth Walk traversed Percival and Morgan. Tonight the camp was treated to a delicious and abundant meal of ribs and cornbread. After dinner, the camp filed into the Watson Theater for Skip Gorman’s first Pasquaney appearance since 2019. We were treated to a wide selection of music on the fiddle, mandolin, octave mandolin, and acoustic guitar. The night ended with the whole camp joining in to sing “Blue Mountain.”
