A hikes day, we attended Mem Hall in our activity clothes ready to scale the Whites. Jackson and Wilson were off to a speedy morning routine, setting camp up for an efficient start to the day. We had a delicious breakfast including unlimited servings of berries and waffles. Nicely fueled, we went on to conquer the White Mountains. The older boys hiked the Franconia Ridge, 3rd and 4th walk summited Mt. Garfield and Mt. Cannon respectively, and the younger campers enjoyed scenic views on top of Cardigan and Firescrew. Everyone returned safely with a strong appetite for dinner. The announcements were filled with humorous summaries of different adventures that happened today. For campfire, we listened to Mr. Vinnie’s reading about Pasquaney during World War I. After a physically challenging day, we were excited to go to bed and rest for the next day on the hillside.
