A warm morning to send the Short Walk on their three-day, two-night adventure. We were sad to see them go but happy they were venturing to the wilderness with wonderful experiences waiting amongst the trees. Now that both the Long and Long and Short Walkers are away, Camp is small; seems empty. The meals are noticeably quieter, and the hillside is more sparsely filled. However, the absence of the older boys does not reduce the energy of Camp. Younger guys have stepped up to fill roles and everyone remaining enjoys the serenity that Pasquaney houses this week. The serenity was interrupted by a thunderstorm and the final results of Farr’s and Sinclair’s afternoon baseball game will remain unknown until another day.
