We woke to a warm 68 degrees and we knew it was going to be a hot day. There was scheduled crew because the crew races are this weekend, and there was also an all-day canoeing specie that saw multiple bald eagles and had to walk up around a dam. The group paddled all the way from Bristol to Franklin. In the afternoon there was a baseball game between Taylor West’s team and Sam Randall’s team. Taylor West hit his first Hobbs Field home run and his team won eight to four. There was varied option for campfire but it was interrupted by a storm and the campers had to wait in the dorms until it passed which delayed prayers and taps.
