As it was the French National Holiday, a handful of francophile campers and counsellors delivered a hearty rendition of La Marseillaise on Mem Hall porch before breakfast. The same energy was later brought on hikes during the day. First Walk hiked the Tripyramids, Second Walk hiked the Hancocks, Third and Fourth Walk Hikes Smarts Mountain,  Fifth Walk hiked Mount Plymouth, and Sixth Walk hike Bear and Sugarloaf Mountains. In the afternoon, some groups were already back at camp and others were still hiking. There was an intense thunderstorm with large thunderbolts coming down upon Newfound Lake. For campfire, Mr. Michael read the classic chapter from At Good Old Siwash, “Ollie’s First Touchdown. After an exciting day of hiking, we went to bed with pride in our hearts.
