In the morning there was no wind, so it was a great day for crew but not for sailing. There was a Bristol Gorge whitewater canoeing specie. At nature there was supposed to be a bird watching specie to the Quincy bog, but it ended up being a hike into the woods instead. In the afternoon, we had scattered rain, so we had a rainy day activity period. Activities included board games and ping pong. In the afternoon, there were the first play rehearsals of the summer, followed by the first Not-Joe’s of the summer. Then we had the first singing of the summer, and new counselor Hunter McGuire came in late and boisterously belted out the wrong lyrics to The Mermaid, which was very funny. We then had Circles and went to bed. All in all, it was a good day.
