On the morning of June 30th, Pasquaney rose to warm weather. A normal Wednesday would include hikes, but a chance of thunder delayed them until Thursday. Clouds from the west were a tell-tale sign of what was to come. During the morning activity period the lake was glass and a rowing crew ventured out for their first day this year. When lunch came around the storm clouds had moved in and a thunderstorm was imminent; when campers reached their bunks for rest, they could hear the rumble of thunder. This thunder meant all afternoon activities were held inside. When the storm finally ended, activities had already concluded. For campfire we met in Not Joe (advisee) groups. A few groups combined and held a huge game of frisbee. The camp then had the nightly routine and quietly listened to Taps, another day on the hillside had concluded.
